Ahead of the Saturday March 9 state governorship and assembly elections nationwide, the leadership of the All Progressive Congress has suspended the governors of Imo and Ogun states- Rochas Okorocha and Ibikunle Amosun respectively.
Their suspension on Friday by the APC National Working Committee was related to anti party activities.
Okorocha is backing his son inlaw, Uche Nwosu of Action Alliance against his party’s candidate, Hope Uzodinma while Amosun is supporting Akinlade of the AMP.
Both governors ran and won election to the senate on February 23 on the ticket of the APC.
