Armed men attack Makinde in Kogi Hotel

Oyo state Governor Seyi Makinde was allegedly attacked on Friday by masked joodlums believed to have been procurred by politicians to undermine the reason he is in state.

Makinde and other members of the People’s Democratic Party moved into Lokoja to be able to have a better handle on governorship election tomorrow, Saturday, November 16.

The governor is the chairman of the PDP committee for the Kogi election.

He narrated to Channels Television how the hoodlums appeared at the hotel.

But the police in Kogi denied there was an attempted attack.

Police Commissioner in Kogi  Busari Hakeem said there was nothing of such. He said jis command got information that some hoodlums were causing problems at the place but when his men got there they discovered it was not true, and so nobody was arrested.
