Chief of Army Staff,  Lt. General Tukur Buratai has placed what looks like a Muslim Fatwa on Abubakar Shekau, the Boko Haram leader, giving his men 40 days ultimatum to smoke him out dead or alive.

Buratai give the order to the Commandant of the Borno State Operation Lafia

Dole while on a visit to the command at the weekend.

So many stories have trailed Shekau, with some claiming he had been killed  and others that he has been rendered inactive.

But each time it was reported that Shekau had been killed he would come out to dispel it as rumour and would even proceed to release a video clip on the abducted Chibok Girls Secondary School still in his custody.

He did a similar thing a fortnight ago.

Apparently peeved by such arrogance and the need to put a final stop to the stories flying around about Shekau, Buratai wants his men to grab him and bring him to him live or in the least, with his dead body intact.

Buratai’s order is that Shekau should be captured and nothing more within 40 days starting from today, Saturday, July 22.
