Atiku Abubakar, the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has won the presidential election in Plateau State.
The state collation officer, Prof. Anande Richard, announced on Monday that Atiku polled 548,665 votes to defeat Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who polled 468,555 in the 17 local government areas of the state.
Atiku’s party said on Monday it was rejecting the results, citing manipulations.
