Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Governor of Kaduna State Ahmed Makarfi met on Saturday to consider the possibility of one of them clinching the presidential ticket of the People’s Democratic Party.
They discussed the decay that has become Nigeria since the All Progressive Congress came into power and how to ensure their party changes the change the APC promised Nigerians.
Atiku and Makarfi are both presidential aspirants for the ticket of the party and look forward to being picked by the delegates.
There are more than 12 aspirants so far seeking the PDP nod to fly the flag next year.
While Atiku said the meeting was for their common interest, Makarfi said it would look good having Atiku yield to him the way Atiku wants Makarfi to yield to him instead.
