The chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Lagos State Chapter, Moshood Salvador has advised Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State  to place more emphasis on the victory of the party in 2019.
Salvador gave the advice on Sunday when the PDP national chairmanship aspirant, Uche Secondus visited him, saying one of them who is also in the race Olabode George is their project.
He also told Secondus the same thing, particularly as the PDP zoned the national chairmanship slot to the South West.
He admonished his guests to see PDP problem in Lagos from the point of Bola Tinubu, and encouraged them to work towards dealing with Tinubu’s dominance.

Salvador said: “The problem of Lagos State is not unknown to you. We have a monster that has a deeper pocket than the Federal Government. We have a monster here that has all the nonsensical ways of pulling people down and collecting their rights. I am appealing to you and Governor Nyesom Wike to extend assistance to us by making sure we dislodge APC in 2019.
“We have our strategies. We have our road map. We are going to look at it and digest it. This Lagos State PDP executive committee is about seven days old. We are ready to win Lagos in 2019. That is our goal, our target and what we want.
“I appreciate your recognition of Chief Olabode George as your leader and boss. Bode George is our project. I am an advocate of South-West zoning. The chairmanship position must be zoned to South-West.

“You were in Port-Harcourt when former governor of Rivers State got up and gave reasons why it should come to South-West. Your goal is to make sure PDP wins. APC national chairman is from the South-South because the ruling party is weak there.
“PDP is strong in the South-South. The weakest area of PDP is South-West and to make sure the party wins, we have to straighten that area. We are party men. That is why we are welcoming you. It is not about one man’s interest. It is about the interest of the party.
“I have to congratulate Prince Uche Secondus for meeting us in perfect unity. You have been at the helm for quite a long time and you know the problems of Lagos State. We have to give kudos to our leader, Chief Olabode George and some other leaders in and outside Lagos State that tried all possible best to make sure you meet Lagos PDP in peace.
“It is only in a peaceful manner that we can win election; where there won’t be Pull Him Down syndrome, anti-party and all of us will sit-down and solve the problems of the party together.”
