Former Minister of Aviation, Prof. Babalola Borisade is dead.
Family sources said Borisade died in the early hours of Wednesday, April 26 in the United Kingdom at the age of 71.
Borisade was appointed Minister of Aviation during the regime of former President Olusegun Obasanjo from Ekiti State.
In 2015, during the general election, he was the campaign manager/coordinator of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s presidential ambition, a role he acquitted himself very well even though Atiku lost at the primaries of his All Progressive Congress (APC) to the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari.
