The group E and F of the ongoing preliminary matches at the World cup in Moscow, Russia has continued to spring up surprises.
Brasil played a 1-1 match with Switzerland on Sunday in the Group F category wjile Germany, the current Champions lost to Mexico 1-0 at the end of the 90 minutes encounter.
Although Brasil seemed to have held their opponents in the first half to a mesmerising game, the story changed during the second half when the Swiss became more daring and eventually equalised leaving Brasil struggling to remain on top till the final whistle was blown.
Brasil’s sensational footballer Neymar was checkmated at every point making it easy for the refree to award free kicks against the Swiss on several ocassions.
In Group F, defending champions, Germany put up a strong fight against their opponent Mexico, but the determined Mexicans sustained the zeal with which they took on Germany until they starting leading by a lone goal.
