Tragedy struck the Air Peace Airline on Friday morning as the communications manger, Christopher Iwara was said to have lost his life in an accident.

While one source said 1wara was said to have been hit by a BRT bus at Mangoro area of Lagos along Lagos Abeokuta expressway another said it was a commercial bus that hit him as he parked his car to attend to fault on his own vehicle.

His sudden death has thrown the Air Peace family into confusion as Iwara is described as one of the best Public Relations persons in the aviation industry.

There is no official statement yet from Air Peace airline.

Only recently, June 1 to be precise, Iwara took to his Facebook wall to celebrate his father who turned 94.

He wrote about his dad: “He’s a product of grace. A man of uncommon intellect, champion of fairness and justice, lover of people without discrimination, community leader of unrivaled passion and devout servant of the Most High God. He’s my father and head of the Iwarah Family & Ikraghwa Quarters of Eku, Ethiope East, Delta State. Happy 94th birthday, Chief (Pst) S. J. Iwarah. May you remain strong and see many more happy years in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
