President Muhammadu Buhari has accepted the resignation letter of his minister of finance, Kemi Adeosun.
Buhari was said to have done so on Friday even though his aide, Garba Shehu denied Adeosun had resigned.
Shehu had claimed the presidency had nit seen the resignation letter.
Buhari accepted her letter and wished Adeosun well in her future endeavours.
Adeosun was a victim of fake National Youth Service Corps discharged certificate which the senate discovered and raised the alarm.
Buhari was said to have advised Adeosun to quit when it was established she was parading a forged NYSC exemption certificate.
According to sources, Adeosun risks being investigated and prosecuted now she is out of office.
