At last, President Muhammdu Buhari has broken the silence of incommunicado, calling the Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung from his vacation base in London to commiserate with him over the death of his wife, Briskila.
Buhari reportedly spoke through phone.
In a statement on Tuesday, January 31 in Abuja by Nneka Anibeze, Special Assistant, Media to Dalung, Buhari commiserated with Dalung through the telephone from London and prayed God to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest.
Buhari expressed shock at the death of Mrs. Dalung, prayed God to forgive her sins. He also prayed to God to give the family she left behind the fortitude to bear the loss. He promised to support the Dalung family in their moment of grief.
Mrs Dalung who is survived by her husband and five children died after a brief illness on January 29, in Jos.
