President Muhammadu Buhari has received a delegation of governors from his party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) and those from the opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who went to visit him in London on Wednesday.
On the trip are chairman of Nigeria Governors Forum, Abdullahi Yari (Zanfara), Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom), Dave Umahi (Ebinyi), Abdullahi Ganduje (Kano), Abiola Ajimobi (Oyo), Kashim Shettima (Borno) and Samuel Ortom (Benue).
They were at the Abuja House in London to see Buhari after four governors led by Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha and the APC leader, John Odigie-Oyegun had visited.
There was doubt over the report from the earlier visit, prompting the seven governors to depart on Tuesday to see him.
Buhari’s wife, Aisha was present at the second round of visit by the governors.
