Forty-three Nigerian men and women have been nominated for ministerial appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari.
The names contained in a list had been forwarded to the Senate President Ahmed Lawan for the Senate attention and screening.
Of the names, 12 were ministers in Buhari’s first tenure while the rest 21 are new nominees.
Former minister of transportation Royimi Amaechi, former Minister of power, works and housing Babatunde Fashola, former Minister of science and technology Ogbonnaya Onu were among the lucky old ministers.
Old ministers who are back also include: Lai Mohammed, Chris Ngige, Geoffrey Onyeama, Zainab Ahmed, Hari Sirika, Abubakar Malami among others.
Some of the new nominees include former Governor of Bayelsa state Timipre Silva, former Governor of Benue State Senator George Akume, former Governor of Osun state Rauf Aregbesola, former Governor of Akwa Ibom State Godwill Akpabio and presidential election campaign spokesman Festus Keyamo.
Others include: Sharon Ikeazo, Uchechukwu Ogar, Emeka Nwajiuba, Niyi Adebayo, Oluronimbe Mamora, Pauline Tallen, Sunday Dare among others.
