President Muhammadu Buhari has told the All Progressive Congress governors to stop mounting pressure on him to make up his mind on whether to seek reelection in 2019.
Buhari told them on Thursday during a close- door meeting that he needs more time to decide if he wants to seek reelection or not.
The governors have been mounting pressure on him to declare his 2019 run.
They even followed Buhari to his home town last week in Daura where ge had gone for a rest to persuade him to announce his intention to run again.
Some of the governors had hoped Buhari would declare interest to run again if he returns to Aso Rock this week.
The governors were therefore disappointed Buhari is still buying time.
