Minister for Solid Minerals, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has resigned as Minister in the President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet.
Fayemi did on Wednesday after attending the Federal Executive Council meeting, apparently his last presided over by Buhari.
Fayemi resigned in order to pursue his ambition to become, for the second time, the governor of Ekiti State.
He has hinted of plans to quit a fortnight ago when he won the governorship ticket of his party, All Progressive Congress (APC) for the Ekiti Governorship poll in July 14.
