Come and help me, Leah Sharibu appeals to Buhari from Boko Haram captivity

“I am Leah Sharibu, the girl that was abducted in GGSS Dapchi. I am calling on the government and people of goodwill to intervene to get me out of my current situation,” Leah Sharibu, has reportedly said from her Boko Haram capivity.

She also appealed to the public to render assistant to her parents and relatives.

Leah, one the 119 students of the Government Girls Secondary School, Dapchi, Yobe State, kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists in February this year was said to have spoken out from captivity.

She could be heard in an audio recording published by TheCable on Monday begging President Muhammadu Buhari come to her rescue.

Leah spoke in Hausa in a 35 seconds audio thus:

“I am Leah Sharibu, the girl that was abducted in GGSS Dapchi. I am calling on the government and people of goodwill to intervene to get me out of my current situation.

“I am Leah Sharibu, the girl that was abducted in GGSS Dapchi. I am calling on the government and people of goodwill to intervene to get me out of my current situation.

“I also plead to the members of the public to help my mother, my father, my younger brother and relatives. Kindly help me out of my predicament. I am begging you to treat me with compassion, I am calling on the government, particularly, the president to pity me and get me out of this serious situation. Thank you.”

Leah  Sharibu was kidnapped in February together with 119 students of Government Girls Secondary School, Dapchi, Yobe state.

All the girls who were captured were subsequently released, but for the five who reportedly died in detention, and Leah Sharibu held back because she refused to renounce her Christian faith.
