Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky and the wife have been granted bail by a Kaduna high court.
El-Zakzaky has been facing trial in Kaduna and Abuja and his members have been protesting what they call inhuman detention against call orders for his freedom.
The court ruled that El-Zakzaky and his wife will be accompanied abroad for medical treatment by officials of the Kaduna State government.
His followers have always demanded that they allowed to travel out to attend to their failing health.
