President Muhammadu Buhari has extended the natiion-wide lock-down following the coronavirus pandemic ravaging the globe.
Buhari was particular about Abuja, Lagos and Ogun states where the impact of the pandemic was more pronounced.
Delivering a nationwide broadcast on Monday, the President said that government will support Nigerians in whatever sway possible to pull through the challenge.
However, Buhari also said that government will continue to provide palliatives to Nigerians, particularly the vulnerable and more importantly, the poorest of the poor.
He said he will extend the cash palliative to another one million Nigerian s across the country.
Buhari said that the pandemic was taking a toll on the whole world and that his government must take steps to save the lives of Nigerians.
