Dangote Cement Supports FRCN Kogi Relocation Project

Dangote Cement, Obajana, has presented a cheque of N5million to the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) in Kogi state to support the relocation of the transmitter hall of Radio Nigeria Prime FM station in Jimgbe to Mount Patti, Lokoja.

Plant Director of the cement company, Mr. JV Gungune made the presentation to the Zonal Director, North Central Zone of FRCN, Alhaji Haruna Idris, on Wednesday.

Gungune said Dangote has invested into many sectors of the economy to make life more meaningful for Nigerians.

The Plant Director said Dangote company, through its corporate social responsibility schemes, has also empowered different people in a bid to improve on the current macro economic indices in the country.

Responding, the FRCN Zonal Director expressed appreciation to Dangote Cement Plc, for fulfilling its pledge to the station.

According to Idris, Radio Nigeria is poised in its obligations to partner with individuals, organizations, as well as government entities to fulfil its mandate of  educating, entertaining and enlightenment.

Last year, Radio Nigeria Prime FM Station, Lokoja, held a programme in its quest to relocate to Mount Patti for a better signal and coverage of Kogi State and beyond.
