The Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals said it has registered three
associations of petroleum products marketers for distribution of its Products.
The company confirmed this development on Tuesday in a press statement on X (formerly Twitter).
According to Dangote, the three prominent associations which were recently registered constitute 75 percent of the total market in Nigeria.
The company added that it is also considering other petroleum products marketers that have signified interest.
“These are the Depot and Petroleum Products Marketers Association of Nigeria (DAPPMAN), the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria, (IPMAN), and the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria, (MOMAN),” Dangote stated.
Dangote Refinery, located in Lagos, commenced operations in January 2024 with production of diesel and aviation fuel.
