Imo Diasporas Support For Senator Hope Uzodinma 2019 has congratulated Senator Hope Uzodinma over his victory at the just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election in which Uzodinma emerged APC flag bearer for Governorship, ahead of the 2019 general election.

The group has also sued for peace among all the APC contending forces for a victorious 2019.

IDSFSHU, a group of Imo State indigenes in abroad working for the election of Senator Uzodinma as governor of Imo State come 2019, made the disclosure in a statement signed by its Coordinator, Chief Nnanna Okere and made available to journalists in Abuja.

The group applauded members of All Progressives Congress, especially the National Working Committee (NWC) led by Comrade Adams Oshiomhole for standing for justice, fairness and equity as enshrined in the APC guidelines.

The group also urged the Ugwumba Movement to embrace peace and work for the APC party to continue the governance at the Douglas House Owerri come 2019.

The Group also admonished the Imo APC Restoration Coalition not to see their victory over the Ugwumba Movement as a zero sum game but a victory for democracy, stressing that what should be paramount to APC was to concentrate and ensure overall victory at the main election not attacks on each other on the media.

The  members further admonished Imolites to give Senator Uzodinma a chance to reposition Imo State for greater economic growth and development starting from 2019.

The group urges the people to be rest assured that Uzodinma’s administration will ensure and work towards alleviating their sufferings when elected into power.

“Senator Uzodinma as governor will empower the youth to achieve their potentials, as a passionate and resourceful young man who became a millionaire in his mid-30s when hard work pays is determined to working with young, intelligent and vibrant Imolites to drive growth built on human capital with productive knowledge,” the statement said.

The group however, enjoined Nigerians not to concede in their prayers and petition for the success of the general elections in 2019 so as to continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

It will be recalled that there was initial confusion over the authentic candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Imo State, for next year’s governorship election until, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), pasted the name of Senator Hope Uzodinma as the right candidate for the party.
