The Directorate of State Services has again refused to release the convener of #Revolution Now#, Omoyele Sowore from their custody against court order.
The court had ordered the DSS on Wednesday to release Sowore after meeting his bail conditions.
The DSS said on Saturday that the authorities to order Sowore’s release were not immediately available.
The security agency however acknowledged receipt of the court order.
The National Human Rights Commission has frowned at the continued detention of Sowore bu the DSS, noting that it hurts democracy and respect for rule of law.
Sowore’s lead counsel Femi Falana uad threatened to return to court of DSS continuea to flout the order of court.
Sowore has been in the DSS custody since August he was accused of treason for calling for revolution against President Muhammadu Buhari over lavk of performance.
