The convoy of the deputy governor of Edo State, Philip Shuabu was involved in an autocrash in Saturday.
The deputy governor and his convoy were returning to Benin while the accident occured at Asaba area of Delta state.
The chief security detail to Shuabu, an Inspector of police and his Personal Assistant reportedly sustained minor injuries and were taken to the University of Benin Teaching Hospital for treatment.
An official of the state government confirmed thr incident.
