Senator David Mark, immediate past Senate President is set to pick his presidential interest and nomination forms ahead of the 2019 general elections.
Mark is hoping to emerge the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in October after the party’s convention.
He will formally pick the form on Tuesday, putting to rest speculations as to his interest in the presidential contest or not.
It also emerged on Monday that Mark has yielded the leadership of the P|DP in Benue to the Governor, Samuel Ortom who recently defected to the PDP from the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Mark joins the army of aspirants for the PDP candidate which included senators, former and serving governors and former vice president, Atiku Abubakar.
