Former Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria, Yakubu Dogara, has returned to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).
Dogara left the APC shortly before the 2019 general election to join the opposition Peoples democratic Party (PDP).
But on Friday, Dogara went into a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Rock villa, accompanied by the Chairman of the APC Caretaker/ National Planning Committee and governor of Kebbi State, Mai Mala Buni.
Though Dogara declined to speak with newsmen when they emerged from Buhari’s office, Buni confirmed that the former speaker is headed for the APC.
