President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday hosted former vice president Mohammed Namadi Sambo to a secret meeting at the presidential villa in Aso Rock.
Analysts see Sambo’s secret meeting with Buhari as romance with the All Progressive Congress (APC).
The secret meeting took place in Buhari’s office lasted for about 25 minutes.
The former Vice President to former President Goodluck Jonathan had arrived the Presidential Villa around 12 noon and headed straight for the president’s office.
At the end of the close -door meeting, Sambo told reporters that his meeting with Buhari was “private.”
He was driven off at about 12:25 pm.
September last year, Sambo had also joined Buhari for Juma’at prayers at the mosque in the Presidential Villa, Abuja, as part of activities to mark the nation’s 57th Independence Anniversary.
