Nigeria’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Justice George Oguntade (rtd) is to look into the fee payable by Nigerians in that country before procuring Nigerian visa.
There are claims that Diaspora Nigerins are made to pay £200 to get a Nigerian visa whereas their colleagues from Ghana pay just £50 for theirs.
The Diaspora Nigerians are worried that these are the things that militate against investments back home.
They recently complained to the minister of foreign affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama and the senior special assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Diaspora matters, Abike Dabiri- Erewa.
Dabiri-Erewa in her twitter page assured that the federal government is going to look into the matter, noting that Oguntade will investigate the claim and do the needful.
