Five pastors of the Redeemed Christian Church of God have reportedly been kidnapped.
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, announced their kidnap on Friday. Adeboye said the pastors were kidnapped on Thursday along Ijebu-Ode.
“As a father, how do you think I should feel to hear that five of my children have been kidnapped while on their way to attend the Ministers Conference?” he asked no one in particular while addressing the audience.
Adeboye made the disclosure during a talk at the Redeemed Camp along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
He said the pastors were on their way to attend the Redeem ministers’ conference in Lagos ahead of the annual Holy Ghost Convention which begins on Monday, August 5, 2019.
Adeboye urged the congregation to pray for the release of the abductees, saying it was the first time such incident was happening.
