Works and Housing Minister, Babatunde Fashola has been challenged to a tour of all roads in Nigeria so as to ascertain their state.
Leadership and Accountability Initiative, a non governmental organisation which threw the challenge to Fashola on Friday also promised to bankroll the expenses that would be incurred in the course of the tour.
In a letter sent to the Office of the Minister on Friday dated November 8 and signed by Nwazuruahu N. Shield (Head of Mission) and Kelvin Emmanuel (Head, Inter-governmental Relations) and duly acknowledged, the group said it was intervening with the tour in view of the statements credited to Fashola over the state of Nigerian roads.
The Letter tagged: Invitation to embark on a tour of Nigeria roads, also urged the minister to indicate a date that would be convenient for him for the assignment just as the group promises to pick all the bills.
