The Imo state Governor Emeka Ihedioha has asked the ministry of works to shut the Flyover at Orji area of Owerri and other life threatening projects executed by the past administration.
He did on Tuesday while on inspection of most of the projects, some of which have become endangered and threat to the lives of Imo people.
Consequently, Ihedioha has directed the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria, COREN, Imo Chapter, to partner with the ministry of works to conduct integrity test on all projects of note done by the past administration.
The Governor was stunned over what he saw when he was on inspection tour to the failed Flyover built by Rochas Okorocha and which was commissioned a month ago by the Vice President, Yemi Osibanjo.
