The State Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Imo State has congratulated its Chairman, Hon. MacDonald Ebere PhD, on the occasion of the grand reception, organized in his honour by the people of Owerri Zone.
In a statement, the State Publicity Secretary, Cajetan Duke, “this singular act of rare honour demonstrates undiluted acceptance, recognition and appreciation of the virtues, personality and achievements of Hon. MacDonald Ebere, by the good people of Owerri Zone and it is particularly significant because it is coming from his kith and kin and just as they say: ” Charity begins at home.”
The statement added: “We hail the people of Owerri Zone for this singular gesture that represents a radical departure from the aphorism of a prophet not being recognized by his people and we are confident that it will motivate our able chairman to achieve more, as to whom much is given, much is expected.
“On our part, we are consistently proud of our visionary chairman for his dedication to duty, humility, team spirit and determination to institute a new normal of equity, justice and fairness in the business of political party administration in the State.
“We are also optimistic that for Imo APC, the good times are here because under the chairmanship of Hon. Ebere, every opposition mountain will be made plain and every unprogressive crooked path smoothened.
