The publicity secretary of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Imo State, Ogubundu Nwadike has dumped the party for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a resignation letter addressed to the PDP Chairman in Imo, Nwadike cited “Personal Reasons after due consultations with his family and mentors” for leaving the main opposition party.
Nwadike’s defection to the APC has been applauded by APC members, who commended him for “being brave enough to throw the leaking umbrella, which has constituted herself as the number one enemy of the state, to the gutters where it truly belongs as no true patriot of Imo can continue to stand with such party that has sworn to bring the state down due to selfish interest of just one man.”
“No true patriot of our dear state who has seen the massive transformation of Statecraft being carried out by the #PeoplesGovernor Hope Uzodimma will not have a re-think, like most of us have done, in supporting the governor and the state to move forward.
More and and more are expected to come”, wrote Mr. Ambrose Nwaogwugwu on his Facebook page.
