Imo State Govt Receives Esther, One of the Youngest Lawyers

The Chief Press Secretary/Media Adviser to the Governor of Imo State, Mr. Oguwike Nwachuku on Wednesdsy, on behalf of the State Government, received one of the youngest female lawyers recently called to Bar in Nigeria, Miss Esther Nwadike.
Miss Nwadike hails from Amaikpa Ubahu Okigwe Local Government Area of Imo State.
Addressing the young lawyer who was on a courtesy call in his office in Government House Owerri, Mr. Nwachuku congratulated her on her achievement,  describing it as a milestone and a demonstration of what Imo people represent nationally and globally.
He said that Miss Nwadike being called to the Bar at the young age of 24 shows how serious and focused she was in her academic pursuit  as well as her pursuit of life ambition early in life.
The CPS added:  “You have made Imo State proud, you have made the Government of Imo State proud and the people of Okigwe where you come from are very proud of you. You are an inspiration to the younger ones and they are also proud of you.”
Mr. Nwachuku reminded the young lawyer that ‘”to whom much is given much is expected” and advised her to try and continue to make the state proud wherever she finds herself.
He assured Miss Nwadike of the State’s moral support in her life endeavour,  noting that she should always continue to aim to be outstanding amongst her equals.
Miss Nwadike who was accompanied to Government House by her friends said that though she is one of the young lawyers called to the Bar, she is not necessarily the youngest amongst her batch.
She added that it is necessary she corrects the impression trending in the news about her being the youngest lawyer called to Bar recently, because “there is someone younger than her in her set.”
On her life expectations, Miss Nwadike who is currently doing her national youth service at Cross River State informed that she will like to go into the corporate sector because she is passionate about  businesses to grow in Nigeria as that remains one of the ways to grow the Nigerian economy.
Also she indicated interest in assisting those into import and export businesses as well as in encouraging women in the academic sector to have interest in businesses  and pursue their career.
Present at the courtesy visit was the Special Adviser/Chief Protocol to the Governor,  Sir Bright Nwalue.
