Assistant Commissioner of Police (DCP) Danjuma Ibrahim, the officer at the centre of the controversy surrounding the killing of Apo Six traders has been reinstated by the police authorities.
Most of the other officers were also reinstated, their salaries and allowances ordered paid and sent on refresher courses to have them fully reintegrated into the system.
The police carried out the reinstatement through their usual signal emanating from the office of the Force Secretary, Abuja this month.
Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris was believed to have given the directive.
