Minister of industry, trade and investment, Okechukwu  Enelama and the Executive Secretary of Financial Reporting Council (FRC), Jim Obazee are head in for a collision path in what industry watchers say is connected to insubordination on the path of the FRC boss.

Industry, trade and investment minister is supposed to be supervising the FRC boss, but it is believed the latter prefers to do his own things; allegedly running directly to the presidency the way he was said to be doing during the regime of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Their difference, sources said, was capable of affecting the policy direction of the industry, trade and investment ministry if the emphasis the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration places on foreign investment is anything to go by.

Consequently, industry watchers have called for urgent intervention of the President so as to nip the impending effect of their differences in the bud.

Amardanews.com gathered that both government officers have not been working in harmony, even as sources close to the minister alleged that Obazee had shown to be disobedient to constituted authorities and even boasted to Enelama that he would “fight” him.

The source further explained that the minister said though he was not ready to join issues with Obazee even thought they were convinced of the role he was playing regarding certain damaging and character assassination online reports linking Enelama to deals with MTN and some local and foreign banks.
