The Independent National Electoral commission has released the time table for political activities leading to the 2019 General election.
According to the INEC, presidential and National Assembly campaigns will kick off in November 18 while their primaries will begin in August 18.
The Governorship and State Assembly election campaigns will start in December 1.
Professor Mahmoud Yakubu, INEC chairman made the disclosure in Abuja on Tuesday while reeling out the time table for the conduct of party primaries and campaigns to reporters.
By the schedule, the presidential and NASS elections will hold in February 16, 2019 while that of the Governorship and State Assembly elections take place in March 2, 2019.
Yakubu said the schedule was released to enable the politicians prepare adequately for the exercise just as he reiterated INEC preparedness for a free and fair election.
