President Muhammadu Buhari and the leadership of the National Assembly comprising Senate President Bukola Saraki and Yakubu Dogara have met at Aso Rock in Abuja in what a source said was over the recurring killings across the country.
The latest killings took place at the weekend in Plateau where no less than 100 persons were massacred.
Sources added that the NASS leadership are pushing for the reorganisation of the security apparatus of the country to deal with the spate of killings across Nigeria.
On the sideline, the trio were also said to have discussed the recent All Progressive Congress (APC) national convention that produced Adams Oshiomhole and the need for the party leaders to work harmoniously to ensure the party’s success in the coming election.
