Insecurity: Buhari to Address Joint Session of National Assembly on Thursday

President Muhammadu Buhari, will on Thursday, address a joint session of the National Assembly on the current Security challenges in the country.

The President’s Personal Assistant on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie, dropped the hint on Monday via her official Twitter handle.

“FireFLASHFire, FireFLASHFire President @MBuhari will address a joint session of the National Assembly (@nassnigeria) on Thursday 10th December 2020,” she said.

Recall that the House of Representatives on Sunday rejected the call by a lawmaker, Hon. Kingsley Chinda, for the impeachment of President Buhari. 

Chinda, a lawmaker, representing Obio/Akpor Federal Constituency in Rivers State, at a recent media parley, called on Nigerians irrespective of political party, tribe, or religion to compel their representatives to commence impeachment process against the president, citing rising insecurity across the country.
