Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola on Thursday, declared open, a Senior Management Retreat of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) in Lagos.
The three-day retreat is strategically put in place to re-tune the perspective of participants who are Assistant Comptrollers General and Deputy Comptrollers General (DCG) .
All the senior management officers from the eight zonal offices of Immigration and from the Headquarters in Abuja were in attendance and led by the Comptroller-General of Immigration, Babandele.
At the event, Aregbesola used the opportunity to also unveiled the NIS National Border Management Strategy Document, 2019-2023.
Arregbesola said:”The strategy document will help enhance national security, contribute to national economic development, reinforce social harmony, protect human rights and vulnerable migrants.”
