IPOB sit at home order rattles security chiefs in Anambra

Security operatives and para- military organisations in Anambra State are worried over the sit at home order given by members of the Independent People of Biafra (IPOB).

Consequently the police, immigration, State Security Services, National Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Customs Service among others have been meeting on how to deal with the situation.

The police commissioner in the state Haruna Umar who led the other security operatives and para military organisations in Anambra State said they will not tolerate any of such directives from IPOB.

Umar said they were ready for the IPOB and urged the citizens to go about their lawful businesses wihout any fear.

He said the sit at home order will mot ne allowed to stand.

The order holds on 13th of September.
