The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has announced the dissolution of the boards and management of Titan Trust Bank, Union Bank, Polaris Bank and Keystone Bank.
The respective boards of the banks were sacked after a meeting with the apex bank authorities on Wednesday in Abuja.
It was gathered that the decision to lay off the bank chiefs was sequel to the outcome and recommendation of Jim Obazee, the special investigator appointed to scrutinise the activities of former CBN Governor Godwin Emefiele, and the respective boards and managements of the four banks.
