The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) says it has restored electricity supply to all areas affected by the 33 Kilo Volt (KV) feeders shattered at the Katampe Substation, in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
TCN’s General Manager, Public Affairs, Ndidi Mbah, said in a statement on Friday that the restoration of power to the affected areas occurred at about 8:38 p.m. on Thursday.
Mbah explained that one of the 33 Kilo Volt (KV) feeders Current Transformer (CT) in the Katampe Substation, supplying the Life Camp axis shattered and in the process tripped one of the 60 Mega Volt Amperes (MVA) 132/33kV transformers at the Katampe 132kV Substation.
