The rerun presidential election in Kenya between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga has been fixed for October 17.
The Supreme Court of Kanya had last week cancelled the earlier presidential poll that produced Kenyatta and ordered for a fresh poll within 60 days.
It emerged on Monday, September 4 that the Electoral Umpire of Kenta has fixed the rerun exercise for October 17.
Kenyatta had earlier told his supporters that he will not be afraid to appear for rerun anytime the election day is fixed.
