Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has further relaxed the curfew he imposed in the state following the violence that erupted in parts of the state after hoodlums hijacked the peaceful #EndSARS protests.
The state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Gbenga Omotoso, who made the announcement on Friday, said the governor has relaxed the curfew from 10pm to 6am.
Omotoso said the governor has commended Lagosians for observing the curfew, which is expected to restore normalcy in the state.
The governor urged all Lagosians to shun actions that can threaten “our unity and go about their businesses in peace.”
He added: “The governor advised purveyors of fake news to stop causing disaffection among Lagosians, who are well known for being peace-loving and friendly.”
