It was a disastrous to behold this evening as people living an working along the route of Ikeja-Magodo-Berger-Isheri-Wawa-Arepo axis were caught in the inferno involving a fully loaded fuel tanker that caught fire on the Otedola bridge while several several cars and buses were in the usual traffic along the route.
The Casualties unknown are unknown but it is believed that it would run into hundreds.
Several vehicles were burnt and an official of the FRSC, Bisi Kazeem, said in a statement sent to Qed.ng: “A crash involving a fallen loaded tanker crash has occurred around Otedola bridge on the outward Lagos section of the expressway. Many vehicles caught fire in the process.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the scene of inferno.”
