Money Ritual: How Police Nailed Alfa Over Human Parts In Alakuko

Abdulfatai Kayode, a 42 year-old self-acclaimed Alfa, who was caught with female and male human parts by the police in Alakuko area of Lagos, is presently at the Lagos State Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) cell in Ikeja, singing like a cannery, INDEPENDENT authoritatively gathered.

An Ifa priest-cum-alfa, identified as Shoyik Onifade, who allegedly sold the human parts comprising vagina, breast, laps and intestines to Kayode for N100, 000, is also with him, telling the police the role he played in the entire money-ritual deal.

But investigation conducted by our correspondent in the last few days revealed that the build-up to this stage for Kayode, a resident of 10, Moshood Street, off Olubadare Street, Alakuko, Lagos, began when he allegedly hypnotized a woman (nameswitheld), who was having issues with her marriage.

Residents of Alakuko, who spoke off record said the self-confessed Alfa, allegedly brainwashed the woman to part with N314, 000, in order to facilitate the resolution of her marital challenges.

However, after paying the money late last year and waiting for what seems eternity for positive result, without any, the woman was said to have reported the incident at Alakuko Police Station and Kayode, who was invited by the police honoured the invitation, it was gathered.

But, during interrogation, led by Ajayi Abayomi, the Divisional Police Officer of the station, police detectives sensed that Kayode was uncomfortable and jittery, which arouse suspicion, compelling the DPO to order that police detectives should visit the resident of the Alfa, a source said.

It was further gathered that when police detectives arrived and searched his resident, a foul odour was noticed within his apartment and when he opened his compound, the human body parts, in various stage of rottenness were recovered.

A source disclosed that Kayode allegedly attempted to bribe police officers from Alakuko Police Station with N300, 000 to keep the discovery secret.
