Abdullahi Wammako, a member of the member of the House of Representatives is dead.
He was flown to his state for burial.
Wamakko was representing Kware/Wammako federal constituency of Sokoto State.
He died at the National hospital after a brief illness, the spokesman of the House, Abdulrazak Namdas, confirmed on Friday, July 14.
“We just got the information that we lost Abdullahi Wammako from Sokoto,” said Namdas.
Wammako is the second member of the National Assembly to die in three months.
His body was immediately flown to Sokoto for the funeral according to Islamic rites.
Government officials who came to receive his corpse at the airport expressed shock over his death, but said nobody can question Allah.
