Jubilation best described the mood of Nigerians who trouped to the Uyo International Stadium in Akwa Ibom to watch Super Eagles lock horns with the Foxes of Algeria in the on going world cup cracker going on in different locations across the world.
At the end of the 90 munites encounter Nigeria defeated Algeria by 3 goals to 1 and thereby booking for itself six points in the Group One table which also includes Cameroon and Zambia .
In Uyo , Chelsea’s Victor Moses and Super Eagles captain Mikel Obi scored two and one goals respectively to put Nigeria on the winning path.
Most Nigerian spectators lauded the team spirit with which the Super Eagles delivered the victory and hoped they will continue in the same zeal until they book a place for themselves in the coming world cracker in 2018 in Russia .
