The Super Eagles of Nigeria on Saturday, October 7 beat the Chipolopolo of Zambia to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The Super Eagles defeated their Zambian counterpart in a lone goal during the second half that came through Alex Iwobi.
The first half ended in goaless scores but the coming of Iwobi in the second half as a substitute altered the tempo of the Super Eagles play when he netted the goal that electrified the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo the Akwa Ibom State caputal where the encounter took place.
