Group of priests under the aegis of Nigeria Rescue Missionaries has reaffirmed its unflinching loyalty to Rochas Okorocha-led Rescue Mission Government, encouraging his deputy, Eze Madumere to continue his ardent support to the Governor.
The group led by its national Chairman, Pastor Dennis Jacobs made the declaration, Thursday, when they paid a courtesy visit to the number two citizen of the State at the Government House, Owerri, Imo State.
The group commended Okorocha for his numerous developmental strides in the State, and insisted that Imo State of today is far better than what it used to be before the emergence of Okorocha-led Rescue Mission Government.
They however showered encomium on Madumere for his strength of character, support and undiluted loyalty to the Okorocha, which has earned the State the most peaceful and stable State in the federation.
Pastor Jacobs in his remarks noted that the visit was to reassure the Deputy Governor of their support, and to encourage him to continue on his path of loyalty to his boss, Okorocha.
“For us the members Rescue Missionaries, the Deputy Governor has shown diligence, capacity and above all his strength of character with humble and loyal spirit with which he has faithfully supported the Governor of the State. We surely commend the Governor for his transformational agenda in the State, but however behind every successful governor, there must be a loyal and diligent Deputy Governor that gives him maximum support. If we are to give our verdict, Prince Eze Madumere is the best Deputy Governor in the world,” Bishop Jacobs declared.
The leader of the group likened the visit to that of Eli; the High Priest of Shiloh to the house of Jesse in the bible, prophesying that “there will be another visit to him, which will be arranged by God.”
Pointing out that the gateway to honour is service to humanity and the Creator, he urged that he should keep absolute faith in God.
Responding, the Deputy Governor appreciated the group for the visit and recalled the group’s contributions towards the success of the rescue mission government which he stressed will never be forgotten.
Madumere used the occasion to reiterate his commitment and loyalty to his boss, adding that his loyalty comes with honesty and dedication.
According to him, the State is on the wheel of peace and progress as enshrined in the Rescue Mission Agenda, declaring his commitment and devotion for its success.
“On my relationship with my boss, I will forever remain faithful and loyal to Rochas. I am very honest about it. For us to keep experiencing continued peace and progress, there must be one captain in the ship,” Madumere stated.
He urged the group to always pray for the governor and Imo state at large. Highpoint of the event was the presentation of a bible to the deputy governor.
